Catalogue features more than 40,000 tools

With more than 1400 pages and weighing 3kg, the new Perschmann tooling catalogue is billed as the the world's biggest from Europe's market leader in quality tools.

Featuring almost 4000 new products and 40,000 tools the Hoffman Group - Perschmann 2006-07 catalogue is now available.

Running to over 1400 pages and weighing-in at 3kg the publication amounts to the world's biggest tooling catalogue from Europe's market leader in quality tools.

Cutting, clamping, measuring, abrasive, saw, hand tool, workstation and workshop accessory products are presented in a clear, user friendly, format with supporting technical information and prices - which are guaranteed until August 2007 when the next issue of the catalogue will be published.

Of the 3888 new tools shown in this the 37th catalogue from the Hoffmann Group, over 2800 innovations are in the field of carbide cutting.

One of the highlights is a clever guide to the coolant feed of the carbide 4-flute drill in the Garant HPC (high performance cutting) range.

Also new is an HPC aluminium cutter with ZOX-layer, a 30xD (diameter) deep hole drill, a new set of Holex metal band saw blades, a Toolcar roller cabinet and a Garant torque screw driver with digital display.

A new navigator on the contents page gives an overview of all the product pages, and a second navigator helps users to compile individual requirements.

Pictograms flag up new products and route users directly to related items and capacities as well as link to a Garant machining manual.

In the workstations sections pictograms explain differences in construction, load and function.

User information has been expanded in the 2006-07 catalogue.

For example, on page 76 there is an overview of the user guidelines for spiral taps and on page 304 there is a summary of spare parts for cutting tools.
