The lightweight (around 10 kg) Delta SM Series of switched-mode DC power supplies, now available from Powerline, offer output ratings up to 3kW and accept a wide input voltage range
A 120W unit with 100% peak load capability (i.e 240W) is also available.
The fact that the units are convection rated, requiring no fan cooling, makes them ideally suited to minimum-space applications.
In addition, the use of high-quality epoxy-glass printed-circuit boards make these power supplies ideally suited to use in applications requiring high reliability, such as communications equipment, industrial instrumentation and process control.
The standard units are open frame, but optional cases are available.
