Now available from Powerline, the Lambda ZW Series is a range of compact power-supply units with built-in power-factor correction.

Now available from Powerline, the Lambda ZW Series is a range of compact power-supply units with built-in power-factor correction to meet the requirements of new legislation being introduced in 2001 Single-output units with ratings from 5 to 300 W are available with output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 24, 36 and 48V DC, while quad output versions with isolated outputs offer ratings of 80 or 130W

A 120W unit with 100% peak load capability (i.e 240W) is also available.

The fact that the units are convection rated, requiring no fan cooling, makes them ideally suited to minimum-space applications.

In addition, the use of high-quality epoxy-glass printed-circuit boards make these power supplies ideally suited to use in applications requiring high reliability, such as communications equipment, industrial instrumentation and process control.

The standard units are open frame, but optional cases are available.
