Powertec brushless motors will be the servomotors operating the first operational missile defence radar antenna to be installed in Alaska.

Powertec brushless motors will be the servomotors operating the first operational missile defence radar antenna to be installed in Alaska Azimuth and elevation of the multi-million-pound antenna will be controlled by 12 large Powertec brushless motors operating in tandem

Powertec motors are also used on US Naval vessels for winch applications.

Powertec makes the largest brushless servomotors available in sizes from 0.5 to 400hp.

The E3213 frame (16in diameter) produces over 400hp continuous output and continuous torque over 1300lbft, in a motor weighing only 558kg.
