A 1000Nm Powertec servomotor has successfully passed shock and vibration testing for the new US Navy DD(xx) Stealth Destroyer advanced gun system.

This is the first permanent magnet brushless motor of this size to pass MIL-901D shock tests and MIL-STD-461 vibration tests.

The motor is used to control the elevation of the new advanced gun.

This successful test proves the reliability and ruggedness of brushless motor technology, essential to the US Navy initiative for an all-electric fleet.
