Poeton Industries has signed an agreement to act as sole UK licensee for Plasmadize coatings from General Magnaplate Corp.

Poeton Industries has signed an agreement to act as sole UK licensee for Plasmadize coatings from General Magnaplate Corp The tough and flexible coatings have excellent non-stick and release properties

Commenting on the agreement, Poeton managing director Colin John says: "Plasmadize is the next generation thermal spray technology, incorporating the latest developments in metals, ceramics, polymers and dry lubricants to form true composites.

We are delighted to have the sole UK licence".

Plasmadize coatings offer superior release properties against adhesives, glues, tapes and other sticky substances when applied to metallic and nonmetallic tooling.

Release coatings can also be customised for the different types of sticky residue that can come into contact with the surface of moulds and rollers during the manufacture of products such as biscuits and sweets.

The coatings are FDA compliant and USDA approved, making them ideal for use in the food and drink, pharmaceutical processing and packaging industries Typical applications include biscuit moulds and dies, vibratory feeder bowls, hoppers, pill moulds, filling machines, potato chip paddles, flow guides, cooking pans and griddles.
