Modern coating aids vintage motorcycle
Surface coating technology developed for leading-edge motorsport applications helped former motorcycling world champion Barry Sheene take the chequered flag at the recent Goodwood Revival meeting.
Poeton Industries' Aptec motorsport division has used surface coating technology developed for leading-edge motorsport applications such as Formula One, to help former motorcycling world champion Barry Sheene take the chequered flag on an historic Norton Manx bike at the recent Goodwood Revival meeting - beating previous champions, including Wayne Gardner Commenting for Aptec, general manager Neill Ricketts says: "We are involved in many successful motorsport campaigns, but we are especially pleased to have provided a very fast turnaround for Barry's team after mechanical problems almost prevented the bike competing
