Pro-face has cut the list prices of Xycom products throughout Europe, some by up to 30%.

Pro-face has cut the list prices of Xycom products throughout Europe, some by up to 30%.

Since Pro-face America acquired Xycom Automation just over a year ago, the company has been working hard to reduce prices in order to be competitive in the market, but without sacrificing the quality of the product.

"Xycom has a worldwide reputation for producing high end, rugged industrial PCs and monitors, but at a premium price.

Now we want to also match competitors offering semi-industrial PCs on price as well, like we do with our Pro-face HMI products", said Tony Lane, General Manager, Pro-face UK, "but of course we still need to maintain or improve the high standards and quality that customers have come to expect from a Xycom product".

This price reduction has been achieved at factory level by a reduction in costs, teaming up with Pro-face's Far East manufacturing plants.

More efficient production has helped to improve lead times as well as costs.

Margins have also been reduced in order to increase volume, and restore Xycom's position as a market leader in the European industrial PC market as well as in the USA.
