The Xycom 3612T is a compact high-performance industrial computer.

The Xycom 3612T is a compact high-performance industrial computer.

The unit comes standard with a 12.1in flat-panel LCD and analogue resistive touchscreen.

An Intel Celeron 850MHz CPU, 128Mbyte RAM, and standard CD-ROM and floppy provide more than enough power and flexibility for the most demanding factory automation applications.

With onboard 10/100BaseT Ethernet, two USB ports, parallel printer port, one RS232 serial ports, one RS485 or 232 serial port, and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports, the 3612T is well-suited for use with virtually any standard PC-compatible device.

The 3612T even provides expansion capability via one half-length PCI card and three three-quarter-length slots (one PCI, one ISA, and one either PCI or ISA).

All this power, connectivity, and expansion is contained in a package that measures just 1.20 x 13.20 x 7.36in.

The 3612T carries the European CE mark and includes UL and cUL agency approvals.

It also is approved for use in Class I and Class II, Division 2 hazardous locations.

It can operate in 0 to 50C environments without additional cooling, and can be purchased with MS-DOS, Windows 98, Windows NT, or Windows 2000 (with multilanguage support) preloaded and configured to make setup a breeze.

The 3612T is optimal at SVGA (800 x 600) resolutions but can display resolutions up to XGA (1024 x 768).

With its standard 4Mbyte video RAM and up to 32Mbyte total video RAM shared with system memory, the 3612T can display maximum colours and 3D graphics with ease.

With optional features such as dual hard drives, externally accessible CompactFlash, or a remote drive bay, the 3612T addresses many customer needs that previously could not be easily met.

These options combined with standard features such as easily removable hard drive and fan filter, easy expansion card installation, and one connection to the front panel for easily servicing the CPU section, are reasons that Pro-face continues to be a leading worldwide supplier of NEMA panel-mounted industrial PCs.
