Compact panel computers come as standard with 30.7cm flat panel XGA LCDs (1024 x 768 pixels) and resistive touchscreens.

Pro-face has released the PS365xA series of compact panel computers The PS-3650A and PS-3651A come as standard with 30.7cm flat panel XGA LCDs (1024 x 768 pixels) and resistive touchscreens

Intel Celeron M 1.3GHz or ULV Celeron M 600MHz CPUs power the units and there is a choice of 256 or 512Mbyte DDRAM for factory automation applications.

With two on board 10/100baseT, five USB ports, one Com port, one PCMCIA cardbus for zoom, sound and video functions and a CF card slot, the series is suitable for use with most standard PC compatible devices.

The PS-3650A has expansion capability via a built in PCI expansion slot while the PS-3651A is a slim-line model due to its fanless construction.

Multi-language operating systems available for the series include Windows 2000, Windows XP and Embedded XP and supported safety standards are CE, UL, cUL and the RoHS directive.

An aluminium diecast body has been adopted for the panel computer for heat radiation and ease in recycling.

The system monitor can spot any occurrence of trouble and use preventative maintenance to stop any possible errors in the main body.

The RAS function can prevent the occurrence of system malfunctions and failures.

It reduces recovery efforts due to the PS-3650A and PS3651A search for trouble points.

The main unit and hard disks can be monitored by installing a system monitor, which can be downloaded from the firm's web site.
