The AGP3000 series of HMIs is now split into three classes, comprising 50 models in all.

Pro-face has expanded its AGP3000 series of HMIs and categorised it into three classes.

There are 50 models in total, giving what is claimed to be the world's broadest lineup and easiest-to-use HMI.

The M (multimedia) Class comprises five models and offers multimedia functions that enable interactive communication within manufacturing systems.

Features include: sound and video input interfaces for direct connection to a video camera and microphone as standard; playback of captured movie files; and an event recorder that captures video and audio from a video camera connected to the AGP3000 to capture errors for fast and accurate troubleshooting.

The C (control) Class offers 30 models and features control functions with flexible system expansion to create intelligence.

Features include: a choice of DIO and Flex network types enabling direct connection of buttons and lamps and allowing space-saving connections with less wiring; the ability to use a variety of AGP monitoring screens to check logic/address programs; and, with the upgraded GP-Pro EX, development of logic programs and screen creation enables greater ease of use.

The S (standard) Class now comprises 15 models all with enhanced HMI features.

Improved features include: visual monitoring of production line and production site conditions in real time; a file manager that can use a USB Flash drive or other storage medium to view, move and copy files; as well as with a CF card, screen data transfer is available via a modem; a pass-through function that allows debugging of the PLC from a PC located in a remote office via the Ethernet connection; and expanded language support - Cyrillic and Thai characters are now available in stroke font together with traditional European languages, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
