Paramount Compliance Services is a new company that specialises in meeting the needs of small and medium sized manufacturing companies.
Paramount Compliance Services is a new company founded by Keith Jones, a BSc graduate in electronics from the University of Glamorgan.
With over eight years experience in the compliance industry, his background includes work in the white goods and radiocommunications sectors.
In 1999, he was responsible for setting up a Supervised Manufacturers Testing Laboratory, gaining accreditation to carry out testing to both EN and IEC standards.
He has also worked as a senior approvals engineer within the radio communications industry, advising design teams on appropriate directives, standards, rules and regulations.
A private limited company registered in the UK, Paramount Compliance Services specialises in meeting the needs of small and medium sized manufacturing companies.
Paramount Compliance Services addresses the complex issues of safety, EMC, radio and telecommunication compliance in the European and world markets.
Paramount Compliance Services provides compliance consultancy assistance and support for manufacturers, suppliers and importing/exporting agents of: radio and telecommunication terminal equipment; test and measurement equipment; portable appliance equipment; handheld tools; white goods; equipment for potentially explosive atmospheres; automotive accessories; and toys.
The company will determine which directives, standards, rules and regulations are applicable to any given product.
It will produce a detailed test plan so that customers know what is required and when it will be carried out.
The company will also arrange the testing of products if required.
The company's staff have years of experience in the compliance industry and have good relationships with many leading test houses worldwide.
Paramount Compliance Services will compile technical files, making sure that all the mandatory requirements have been covered.
Paramount also offers a safe archive service, allowing technical files to be easily accessed if required by enforcement agencies such as Trading Standards.
The company will also: determine and review the mandatory labelling requirements for any product; determine and review the mandatory user manual requirements for a product; draft declarations of conformity, making sure that all essential information has been included; and obtain necessary type approvals.
