Pumps provide faster filtration
PCM Moineau filter press feeding provides a cost-effective and reliable solution for plate feeder presses used in environmental dewatering applications.
Thanks to the application of eco-design rules, these pumps have fewer parts as well as being smaller and lighter.
They are also designed to reduce overall product life cycle costs (LCC).
Based on an original patented design, the new EcoMoineau series is an appropriate response to a market facing increasing demand for efficiency and ever-more stringent environmental regulations.

Pump limits environmental impact
The eco-design approach to product design aims to minimise the environmental impact of a product during its entire lifecycle.
Every possible measure has been taken to reduce the impact of this product on the environment.
The objective to reduce the sise of all the pumps without compromising performance was achieved thanks to a technological alternative: the use of a floating stator or fixed stator with a new patented joint.
This means that, for any flow rate, every model in the range benefits from reduced dimensions.
In addition, the drive systems (motor reducer, speed variator etc) are built-in, and the base forms a single unit with the pump body.
User-friendly features are supplied, as standard, for the complete EcoMoineau range, including: mechanical seals, for perfect sealing and ease of operation (no soiling due to leaks); and built-in hand-holds for regular monitoring and ease of maintenance.
EcoMoineau pumps are easy to implement.
The various possible installation arrangements have been anticipated right from the design phase, to allow maximum compatibility with any on-site connection arrangements: multipositionable flanges, multistandard fittings etc.
The reduced size of the pump is also an advantage at the time of installation.
EcoMoineau pumps are simple and robust, and therefore designed for a long operating life in the most challenging conditions.
The mechanical seals supplied as standard are a major factor in the reliability and ease of operation, but many other parameters are also considered right from the design phase: abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance, through the choice of materials; reduction of fibre entanglement problems; and ease of eliminating them thanks to the original connecting rod design.
The performance of this solution has been tested and validated by long-term testing at treatment plants on thickened, corrosive sludge with a high sand content.
Efficient and with low energy consumption, this new range of environmental pumps provides an excellent performance/price ratio throughout its life cycle.
Its main applications are the pumping and transfer of raw waste water and viscous products: liquid sludge, scum, polymers, lime milk, activated carbon slurry etc.
