The ASi gateway to CC-Link provides a simple, cost effective way to realise the benefits of the AS-i within a CC-Link network.

The AS-Interface is well proven as an economical and robust system for the networking of sensors and actuators on the lowest field level.

The ASi gateway to CC-Link provides a simple, cost effective way to realise the benefits of the AS-i within a CC-Link network.

The gateway is a master to the AS-i network and a slave to the CC-Link network.

All ASi functions such as addressing, parameterisation and configuration of the ASi network are accessible via the CC-Link connection as well as standard data exchange.

Status information about the communication is indicated locally via ten LEDs and a two-digit LED display on the front of the unit.

The gateway occupies three stations on the CC-Link network, setting the station address is done via two pushbuttons inside the front cover.

Designed for field installation the gateway has an IP67 rating, connection to the CC-Link is made via cable glands in to cage clamp terminals.

The ASi connection is simplified using the flat cable and a standard base.

As part of a full range of ASi products, Pepperl+Fuchs can also offer ASi gateways to the following common networks: Profibus, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Interbus, Modbus and Modbus Plus.
