Snap-in mounting in an angular support bracket allows installation, replacement and height adjustments to be carried out rapidly.
Each safe device on the ASi network is uniquely identified and therefore any device triggering a stop condition can be easily located and checked.
The two outputs on the new AS-i Safe module from Pepperl+Fuchs can be configured to act as an immediate local indication of a triggered safety input without the need for PLC programming.
When wired to a lamp or beacon they can give an instant visual indication to machine operators of an emergency stop condition.
Alternatively the outputs can be used as standard control system outputs.
The safety module has two safety inputs and can be used in applications requiring protection levels up to category 4.
The flat pack housing connects to the flat AS-i cable and is compatible with all AS-i networks.
Resin encapsulated and sealed to IP67 the module is a tough industrial component. Request a free brochure from Pepperl+Fuchs GB ...
