The latest controller for the Ident family makes connection to an Ethernet network simple.

Pepperl+Fuchs has designed their latest generation of controllers in IP67 housings with convenient plug connections, so users simply fix them, plug in and start work.

Additionally, the system can be fully configured and commissioned via the pushbuttons and text display on the controller, so there is no need to use a laptop.

RFID (radio frequency identification) from Pepperl+Fuchs can be used for tool identification, production tracking, as a robust alternative to barcodes, asset tracking or access control.

P+F has four RFID systems, two low range inductive RFID systems and two medium/long range microwave RFID systems.

Pepperl+Fuchs has manufactured Ident systems for over ten years and has successfully installed systems in many high profile UK manufacturers including BMW, Rover, Warburtons, Johnson Controls, Toyota and Land Rover.

The company's systems division can offer a range of services from simple help and advice through to full turnkey installations.
