The two latest incremental additions to P+F's encoder range use the same innovative technology and special opto-ASIC based scanning systems operating at 10 to 30V or 5V RS422 output levels.

The two latest incremental additions to P+F's encoder range use the same innovative technology and special opto-ASIC based scanning systems operating at 10 to 30V or 5V RS422 output levels.

However, they offer quite different application solutions.

The RHI90 has a choice of hollow shaft sizes from 16 to 45mm diameter and is specifically aimed at motor and variable speed drive applications.

The high integration level achieved by the reading system means that the overall external diameter of 90mm is less than most competitors units.

With a maximum resolution of 4096 pulses, the metal disk and integral spring steel mounting plate ensure the RHI90 is ideal for use in applications with extreme shock and high vibration levels.

The TVI50 is the starting level for a new economical "Target" line of solid shaft devices.

With an outside diameter of just 50mm, the encoder has an 8mm shaft and maximum resolution of 1024 pulses per revolution.
