Pepperl+Fuchs has recently added the new NCB2-V3-N0 to its range of V3 style switches.

Pepperl+Fuchs has recently added the new NCB2-V3-N0 to its range of V3 style switches, designed to run alongside the industry leading NJ2-V3-N.

Although similar to its stable mate, this new sensor also includes LED switch status indication.

This means that the end user can see on the sensor whether or not the sensor has been activated by the target.

This is especially helpful during commissioning and fault finding as frequent trips back to the panel can be avoided.

The sensor is also equipped with a diode on the output so as to allow it to be used with the P and F "SRA" barrier and so reduce field wiring by half.

The sensor is ATEX certified to work in a 1G, 1D environment.

The V3 style is primarily used by the valve industry and is designed to replace the V3 style mechanical microswitch.

Pepperl+Fuchs V3 range includes sensors with Namur, 24V DC, 5-60V DC and 110V AC outputs.

Both cable and blade connector versions are available.
