Pepperl+Fuchs has published a new version of the popular overview that covers its range of sensor products specifically designed for use in the packaging industry.

Pepperl+Fuchs has published a new version of the popular overview that covers its range of sensor products specifically designed for use in the packaging industry.

Following the recent acquisition by Pepperl+Fuchs of Data Matrix reader specialist Omnitron, the high speed readers are now an integral part of the range for packaging technology solutions and are included in the overview.

Also included are products such as background suppression sensors, which are independent of colour and brightness and ideal for difficult applications.

New and improved sensors that can be used for colour and print mark detection also feature.

For positioning there are encoders and inductive sensors, for level control the capacitive and ultrasonic sensors are included, for safety systems sensors in either category 2 or 4 are covered and finally to connect everything together AS-interface is also considered.
