The MAC 340 is part of the new Omnitron product range of high capacity code readers from Pepperl+Fuchs.

Data Matrix or 2D codes enable detailed information to be carried on extremely small objects with a significant increase in read reliability over conventional 1D codes for product identification or online data recording.

The MAC 340 is part of the new Omnitron product range of high capacity code readers from Pepperl+Fuchs.

The fixed position reader offers the following high specification for a data matrix of symbol size 16x16: 25 evaluations per second; 6m/s read speed; omnidirectional reading; progressive scanning; and processing of 256 grey values.

The high-energy solid state light source delivers excellent immunity to ambient light conditions and is not subject to deterioration.
