The Pepperl+Fuchs DF20 colour sensor is for differentiating colours independently of the background.

Using active triple sensing with separate red, green and blue LEDs, the DF20 works by analysing the red, green and blue light of the target and then storing this reference value.

The unit has a sensing range of up to 25mm, optics which are exchangeable by 90 degrees and an external teach-in function.

Available in plastic or stainless steel housing with IP67 protection, the DF20 is for print mark registration in many packaging sectors including the food industry.
