Photoelectric sensors fit in tight spaces

A Pepperl+Fuchs GB product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 24, 2007

The new GLV18 cylindrical M18 photoelectric sensors can be mounted in tightest of spaces and are unlikely to cause an obstruction or suffer accidental damage.

GLV18 cylindrical M18 photoelectric sensors have an overall length of just 43mm for the straight versions and 57mm for the 90 degree versions.

They can be mounted in tightest of spaces and since they do not protrude very far, they are less likely to cause an obstruction or suffer accidental damage.

They also come with a simple flush mounting option for when a speedy snag-free installation is required.

The mounting bezel clips to the front of the sensor which is then mounted through an 18mm hole.

A single locknut is then used to clamp the sensor in place.

This simple but effective mounting option is available for all of the new range of GLV18 sensors.
