The Peli lights range of over 30 torches is designed to perform in the worst conditions.

The Peli lights range of over 30 torches is designed to perform in the worst conditions.

Peli lights include intrinsically safe torches as well as rugged, industrial worklights certified to Zone 2.

There are hand-free lights as well as small, pocket torches, tiny flashing emergency lights.

Submersible versions are also available.

Peli Products' intrinsically safe torches include the L1 Zone 0 torch, certified to ATEX Zone 0 and the Super SabreLite Zone 1 and StealthLite Zone 1 torches.

These models extend Peli's range of high quality, unbreakable, ATEX approved torches for use in high-risk atmospheres such as chemical, oil, gas and power industries.

Peli Products Managing Director, Eric Breeze explains: "We recognised the urgent need to provide quality safety torches certified to Zones 1 and 0 for July 2003, when the ATEX Directive becomes mandatory, and only certified electrical equipment can be used in potentially explosive areas.

Our intrinsically safe torches not only meet these requirements but offer outstanding performance, being lightweight, compact and ultra-bright".

The L1 Zone 0 is certified for all hazardous area uses, including areas where an explosive atmosphere will be present continuously (zone 0).

The LED lamp has a life of 10kh and the battery life is 130h.

There are two medium-sized Peli torches certified to ATEX Zone 1, for use in areas where an explosive atmosphere will be present some of the time.

The SuperSabreLite Zone 1 is watertight to 150m, has an indestructible ABS body and an impact protection battery tray ensuring uninterrupted light if the torch is dropped.

The StealthLite Zone 1 can be handheld or helmet mounted.

It weighs just 230g, making it lightweight for either option and the Laser Spot xenon lamp produces an ultrabright, collimated beam to pierce smoke.

All Peli Products are covered by an unconditional lifetime guarantee (excludes shark bite, bear attack and children under 5).
