PPT Vision has introduced the Impact T25 and Impact T21, the newest additions to the company's T-series intelligent camera family for high-speed automated inspection.

Compared with standard resolution vision systems, the Impact T25 is designed to give manufacturers greater accuracy and improved defect detection.

The Impact T21 is a remote micro-head based camera, designed for tightly constrained mechanical requirements.

Both offer the functionality of a full-featured, self-contained Vision system.

A free online tutorial on the PPT Vision website details how Impact can improve manufacturing quality and throughput.

The site also offers a fully-functioning software demo.

Impact T25 has a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, including a self-contained image processor and I/O.

Supported by a high-speed CCD imaging sensor, it can capture and process images at rates of up to 5000 parts per minute.

The Impact T21 is ideal for inspecting electronic microcomponents and other small manufactured parts.

Its tiny micro head fits nicely into small machines or tight spaces.

Both of these new products are fully supported by PPT Vision's Inspection Builder software.

Inspection Builder contains all the features of a full-scale vision system, deployed in an economical smart camera format.
