Nieters to head up new Midwest sales
office
Polytec has recently hired Jim Nieters as the Midwest Region Sales Manager for its new regional office in Detroit, Michigan.
Polytec has recently hired Jim Nieters as the Midwest Region Sales Manager for its new regional office in Detroit, Michigan The additional office was established to better serve all of Polytec's customers in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Ontario, Canada and to specifically address the needs of the automotive industry in the region

Nieters' broad technical background encompasses vibration test, measurement and analysis work in petrochemical, aerospace and defence, automotive, machine tool, construction, transport and packaging industries.
Prior to joining Polytec, Nieters worked with several instrumentation suppliers including Bruel and Kjaer, Head Acoustics, Heim Recorders, Dactron and Mueller-BBM.

Nieters' industrial experience includes vibration testing for product function and transport survivability, consulting on structural dynamics in nuclear and power generation, environmental and occupational noise control, acoustic emission testing and monitoring, product noise, sound quality and QA/QC.
He has a BSc in mechanical engineering from Washington University and belongs to the SAE, ASME, INCE and the Vibration Institute.
