Prominent's versatile Makro range of piston-type metering pumps has been extended with the introduction of the new Makro/5.

Available with single or multiple stainless steel liquid ends, the Makro also features a newly designed drive unit and offers a delivery rate of up to 40,000 l/hr.

The new drive unit offers a choice of piston sizes and an adjustable stroke length to allow fine metering control.

In this way, a metering reproducibility of +/- 0.5% is achieved over a stroke length range of 10-100%.

The single liquid end version offers a maximum delivery rate of 6000 l/hr at a backpressure of 6 bar.

A second push rod connection is supplied as standard, so a second liquid end can easily be bolted on.

With the double liquid end, the maximum delivery capacity increases to 12,000 l/hr.

By using multiple liquid ends, metering rates of up to 40,000 l/hr can be achieved.

Up to four additional drive units can also be used to provide sufficient power for the increased capacity.
