ProMinent Fluid Controls has announced a world-wide agreement for the distribution of Knick Portamess 911 and 913 portable pH and conductivity meters and the Stratos 2000 series of industrial process analysers for pH, conductivity, inductive conductivity and dissolved oxygen Both these versatile product ranges feature intrinsically safe versions for use in hazardous areas

A significant part of ProMinent's business is the manufacture and supply of precision dosing and control systems primarily in a host of water treatment applications across a wide range of industries.

The addition of these particular Knick products perfectly complements ProMinent's portfolio.

The Portamess 911 and 913 portable meters are compact units which offer the measurement capability of high quality benchtop meters with easy "pictograph" guided operation.

Developed specially for field applications, they are used in industries such as food processing and water and waste-water treatment, as well as in environmental protection applications.

The Stratos 2000 series has universal applications in the chemicals industry, power stations, biotechnology, food and pharmaceuticals sector as well as water and waste-water monitoring.

The units offer excellent performance and versions are available which utilise PROFIBUS and HART communications technologies.
