The ProMinent-Knick Portamess 913 portable pH meter has been specially developed for field use in industrial, environmental, water and wastewater and food production applications It offers the functional capabilities normally associated with high-quality benchtop meters and provides comprehensive data handling facilities

The Portamess 913 features a unique datalogger.

This allows automatic recording of up to 100 sets of measured values over extended periods of time.

Measurements, complete with date and time, may be made manually or using an integral timer, or be initiated by an external trigger.

The unit has built-in software which allows measurement data and device logs to be presented in table form, with space for optional entry of additional notes such as sample station number.

This is fully compliant with ISO 9000 and Good Laboratory Practice.

Data may be transferred via a serial interface to either a printer or a PC.

This enables data to be transferred directly into Windows applications such as Microsoft Excel, thereby avoiding manual transfer errors.

Offering simultaneous measurement of pH, mV and temperature over the ranges -2.00 to +16, -1300 to +1300 and -20.0 to +120sC respectively, the Portamess 913 features an automatic calibration routine.

At the touch of a button, the unit automatically recognizes the buffer being used from a choice of 8 buffer sets and performs the calibration.

A simple pictorial display indicates when the electrode needs to be calibrated.
