Prominent Fluid Controls (UK) has added a sophisticated 2-week timer option to its popular gamma/L precision dosing pump.

Prominent Fluid Controls (UK) has added a sophisticated 2-week timer option to its popular gamma/L precision dosing pump.

The novel design brings far greater versatility compared with conventional timers, and this integrated system may ultimately replace remote program control of conventional timers.

The timer offers daily, weekday, weekend, weekly or 2-week settings for operation of the pump, and the operating times may be set from 1s up to 2 weeks.

The timer cannot only switch the pump on and off, but can also activate one or two optional relays.

This opens up the possibility to, for example, activate an agitator either before or after dosing.

The timer also has an event-programming mode.

This will allow up to 80 different timed events to be carried out, allowing complex sequences of pump and external device control to be set up.

The timer is conveniently installed within the IP65 housing of the pump, so no additional space is required.

The timer can be programmed at the pump using the integral control keypad, or alternately may be programmed on a PC or laptop computer and the program downloaded to the pump via a special cable.
