A comprehensive range of robust sensors is available for accurate and reproducible measurement of important parameters in a host of water treatment applications.
Prominent Fluid Controls offers a comprehensive range of robust sensors for accurate and reproducible measurement of important parameters in a host of water treatment applications.
These include disinfection, neutralisation, pH control, CIP and cooling tower water treatment.
Used in conjunction with Prominent chemical dosing systems, the sensors form an essential component of feedback control loops to ensure water quality is maintained at the required level.
They are used with water treatment in industries as varied as food and beverage, swimming pools, pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical.
Using methods based on the measurement of electrical potential, current or conductivity, sensors are available for pH, redox, conductivity, temperature, inorganic, organic and total chlorine, chlorine dioxide, bromine, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid and dissolved oxygen.
Sensor types include single probes and diaphragm-covered dual and triple electrode probes.
To ensure a long life and trouble-free operation, Prominent controls all aspects of the manufacturing process.
A detailed testing programme for each sensor is carried out immediately after production and then two weeks later to avoid glass-specific faults.
Prominent also offers a comprehensive package of accessories for the installation, calibration, maintenance and service of the sensors.
These include modular inline probe housings for tank bypass installations, measuring tube combinations and buffer solutions.
In addition Prominent manufactures an extensive range of precision dosing pumps, controllers and specialised chemical dosing systems.
