The gamma/L precision dosing pump is now available with a liquid end manufactured from PVDF, and a simplified proportional flow dosing methodology.

The gamma/L precision dosing pump from Prominent Fluid Controls is now available with a liquid end manufactured from PVDF, and a simplified proportional flow dosing methodology.

These pumps have capacities of 0.74-32 litre/h at 16-2bar back pressure.

The new liquid end brings increased resistance to aggressive chemicals.

It can be rapidly sterilised using superheated steam at a pressure of 1-2bar to increase the range of applications.

In addition to the use of PVDF in the liquid end itself, the valve seals are made from PTFE and the valve balls from ceramic.

This combination gives extremely high chemical and temperature stability.

Liquid ends with PTFE ball valves are available for pumping fluorine-containing fluids.

A double ball valve construction for the inlet and outlet valve on the new liquid end allows continuous ventilation for the safe pumping of outgassing fluids.

A new option has also been introduced for the sophisticated microprocessor control system for the gamma/L pump.

This new facility makes it much easier to set up the pump for proportional flow dosing, The user simply inputs the concentration of the dosing medium, the pulse spacing of the water meter and the desired final concentration.

The pump electronics then calculates the required pump operating conditions according to the pulses received.
