Dosing pumps come as ATEX-compliant packages

Prominent Fluid Controls can now offer its high performance Orlita dosing pumps mounted as ATEX-compliant complete dosing packages.

Prominent Fluid Controls can now offer its high performance Orlita dosing pumps mounted as ATEX-compliant complete dosing packages.

This greatly aids servicing and maintenance, as offshore dosing packages, which are mounted on skids can simply be exchanged and returned to the mainland for servicing.

Details on this new capability can be found on Stand 1106 at the Offshore Europe exhibition, from 6th to 9th September in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Prominent's high performance Orlita DR and Mfs dosing pumps will also be on show.

The Orlita DR pump has a unique valveless design featuring a rotary piston which itself opens and closes the inlet and outlet lines so no valves are required.

The pumping mechanism also gives extremely precise dosing capabilities with an accuracy of + 0.5%.

The DR Series of pumps can pump fluids of viscosity up to 106mPas over a wide temperature and pressure range.

The API675-rated Mfs Series are hydraulically actuated diaphragm pumps featuring a double PTFE diaphragm.

They are designed for the injection of methanol, glycol, chemicals and condensate.
