A new pH combination probe is capable of operating under high alkalinity and high temperature conditions, making it ideal for the aggressive conditions in the process and plating industries.

Prominent Fluid Controls has introduced a new pH combination probe, capable of operating under high alkalinity and high temperature conditions, making it ideally suited to aggressive conditions in the process and plating industries.

The PHEP-H 314 SE features a new glass that extends the maximum pH measurement from 12 up to 14 and will operate at temperatures up to 100C.

At pH values above pH 12, standard glass sensors are damaged, particularly at high temperatures.

The innovative, pH-sensitive glass (H-glass) introduced by Prominent overcomes this problem to give stable reliable measurement not only at pH 14 but right the way down to the highly acidic conditions of pH 3.

The new probe has an SN6 connector and is fully compatible with existing housings, measurement transducers and controllers.

It can operate at pressures of up to 6bar at 25C and 3bar at 100C.
