Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 30, 2006

Prominent ProMaqua is a new company formed to handle all aspects of the water treatment business.

Prominent UK's thriving custom-designed dosing and water treatment package business has received a substantial boost following the announcement of the formation of Prominent ProMaqua by Prominent Dosiertechnik to handle all aspects of the water treatment business.

ProMaqua's and service experts will provide industry-appropriate, application- and case-specific solutions for water disinfection, oxidation and hygiene users in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries as well as operators of swimming pools.

The availability of an even greater range of turnkey packages will provide extra sales opportunities to Prominent UK, whose water treatment package sales is already an important part of its overall business.

Based in new premises in Heidelberg, Germany, Prominent ProMaqua is headed up by commercial managing director, Ralf Kiermaier, and technical managing director, Dr Andreas Wolf.

ProMaqua's product portfolio covers all the well-established treatment methods including hypochlorite dosing, chlorine dioxide, ozone, UV and reverse osmosis.

The new company also offers fluid control products for storing, transferring and metering as well as for measuring and controlling.

Almost all the products come from Prominent's own R and D and manufacturing facilities.

With extensive experience derived from the many years of experience of the Prominent group in the target industries, the new company's prime objective is to provide complete, turnkey water treatment solutions inclusive of consultation and service.
