The Premotec CL40 coreless motor family is now available in three power ratings - 3Watts, 7Watts and 12Watts.

However, that's not the end of the story as all three motor types are available with a wide range of gearbox types as standard.

Well over 1000 standard geared motor combinations are available (many from stock) using these motors with the S38A, S40A, P32A and P32B gearbox types.

This allows a huge number of customer requirements to be easily met using readily available motors and gearboxes.

The CL40 motor is available with either carbon/copper or precious metal commutation systems enabling this 40mm motor to optimised for both intermittent- heavy duty and continuous applications.

Most motors are fitted with solder tags though flexible leads can be easily added.

The rotor construction uses the skew-wound, coreless (no iron core) principle with the benefits of low rotor inertia, low iron losses and zero cogging.

Hence, the CL40 offers the possibility of very high efficiency and excellent dynamic performance.

A range of spur and planetary gearboxes enables continuous output torques over 4.5Nm to be obtained from a range of options to suit most commercial cost targets.

A wide range of standard ratios is offered for each gearbox type.
