JCB Loadall machines offer a wide range of configurations and options to suit different applications (in manufacturing, construction, civil engineering, bulk handling, agriculture, defence, etc) and insist upon the highest quality standards from all their component suppliers.
These four-wheel telescopic loaders provide an impressive forward reach, lift capacity and lift height to maximise their capability.
Their hydrostatic power steering has power track rods on both axles, with three steering modes - all wheel, front wheel or crab steer - selected by a switch in the cab.
The Protex panel latch model 65-614 provides all the reliability and security that is necessary for fastening down the JCB Loadall engine cover in the most hostile of working environments.
A strong, U-shaped hook hitches under a hoop-shaped keeper of 10mm diameter bar on the frame of the fitment, whilst a screw with locking nut allows 6mm screw adjustment for ease of fitting.
The robust latch measures 202mm long X 140mm wide X 70mm deep and weighs approximately 0.80kg.
Provision is made for a barrel lock or a padlock.
This innovative fastening device is manufactured by Protex in mild steel with bright zinc finish as standard, or to customer requirements in a choice of coloured zinc, electrophoretic black or other finishes.
JCB opt for electrophoretic black and fit their own specification of barrel lock to the latch.
The latch is well suited to holding double-hinged bonnets, access panels and engine and safety covers on vehicles both on-road and off-road (typically agricultural, quarrying, earthmoving and construction machinery), securing inspection bonnets and covers on static factory plant, cabinets, enclosures, or indeed any large panels.
