Protex helps industrial vacuum to clean
up

In this case, a handy and compact vacuum cleaning unit was needed that could be used effectively and efficiently in locations giving the least area for manoeuvre - such as machine shops, toolrooms, laboratories, offices, aircraft cabins and tiered seating - and yet allow speedy and simple emptying of all the dirt particles and waste collected via the disposable dust bag.
And so Protex developed a quick-action draw latch embodying a spring claw of special length and shape in 2.36mm (0.093in) diameter wire and larger than usual (5mm) holes pierced in the base for pop riveting.
Built into a recess on each side of the lid, this neat fastening device weighs just 36g, yet is deceptively strong, with a breaking strength of 68kgf (670N).
The high-technology Micropac 190 industrial and commercial vacuum cleaner, manufactured by Premiere Products as a rotational moulding, is strapped onto the operator's back with a padded harness and provides efficient cleansing of restricted spaces or congested areas.
The appliance features a powerful 850W direct air flow motor and a high filtration efficiency of 95%.
