International conference takes shape

The event starts at 0900 GMT on Tuesday 22nd June with a keynote address from George Turnbull of Open Automation and Control, after which the programme splits into the three streams.
Presentation times will be carefully planned and controlled to allow delegates to switch between streams and individual presentations.
Stream 1 will address six key themes - overview, process and asset management, advanced communications technology, motion control, safety and Profinet - with applications spread over the two days.

When Roche started construction of a new 25,000 tonne per annum vitamin E production plant in 2001 the decision was made to use fieldbus technology.
The hands-on primers and the masterclasses will be presented twice over the two days to allow everyone a good chance to hear the presentations of their choice.
Supported by an exhibition, interactive displays and technology demonstrations from the UK's Profibus Competence Centre, the two-day event is a must for engineers, managers, applications, technical support and sales personnel involved in design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of factory and process automation components and systems.
Situated in Shakespeare Country, the event will offer opportunities for delegates and partners to sample the delights of the region.
For delegates attending the two full days, accommodation has been arranged in nearby Stratford upon Avon and a gala dinner is planned at Warwick Castle - recently voted the UK's top historic castle attraction - where delegates will be able to participate in The Kingmakers Feast in honour of its former owner, the infamous Kingmaker, Sir Richard Neville.
The two-day package including conference, four-star accommodation and the feast is priced at just GBP 388 plus VAT.
For those arriving the night before - midsummer night - for just GBP 39 extra there is the opportunity to join in a special Shakespeare Evening featuring a preview performance of King Lear at the RSC with a pre-theatre dinner and post-theatre dessert at the nearby Coconut Lagoon and Georgetown restaurants.
Day delegate packages are available for just GBP 120 plus VAT per day or GBP 195 plus VAT for both days, including all daytime refreshments.
Early booking is strongly recommended for this event as places are strictly limited and are offered strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
