The world's leading experts are converging on Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, England, to attend and present at the Profibus International Conference on the 22nd and 23rd of June.
The world's leading experts are converging on Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, England, to attend and present at the Profibus International Conference on the 22nd and 23rd of June.
Representatives from over 20 of the 27 Profibus competence centres worldwide will join the chairmen of some of the 40-plus working groups to share in and present a veritable feast of Profibus and Profinet education presented over the two days of the event.
Following the keynote address from George Turnbull of Open Automation and Control entitled "Towards an open distributed system encompassing acquisition, control and safety", the conference splits into three streams.
In the main conference hall, the lineup includes case studies such as: "Automating a container port with Profinet", from Hutchison Port Holdings; "Profibus in wastewater treatment", from United Utilities; and "Profibus in Vanguard Class manoeuvring room trainers", from Rolls-Royce Marine Electrical Systems.
New technology presentations cover advanced subjects such as Integration with FDT/DTM, remote diagnostics, motion control, slip-ring technology, radio-based extensions for Profibus, Profinet I/O and Profisafe device development.
The conference also features masterclasses and primers led by the experts, and is supported by technology demonstrations and an exhibition of latest products from leading manufacturers including: Endress + Hauser, Erwin Sick, Hawke International, HMS Industrial Networks, Manchester Metropolitan University, Phoenix Contact, Rolls-Royce Marine Electrical Systems, Siemens A and D, Siemens Process Instruments, Turck Banner and Wago.
