Profibus UK has issued a call for papers for its International Profibus Conference to be held on 21st and 22nd June 2005 Following the format that proved so successful this year, the conference will feature a comprehensive educational programme covering latest developments in Profibus and Profinet technology including Profisafe, Profidrive and Profibus PA, supported by case studies, an exhibition and technology demonstrations

These will be delivered in two main streams: masterclasses for advanced users and Profibus primers for people new to the technology.

Proposals for presentations comprising a working title and 100-word abstract should be sent to Profibus UK no later than 15th November 2004.

Profibus UK would also like to hear from suggestions from users wishing to see specific subjects covered in the conference.

Building on the success of the 2004 event at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire Profibus UK has booked another impressive venue steeped in history.

Coombe Abbey is a substantial conference centre based in a converted medieval monastery close to Birmingham International Airport and within easy reach of other attractions such as Stratford upon Avon.

It features its own rather individual style of accommodation which means that speakers, exhibitors and delegates can really make the most of the venue and the networking opportunities it offers.

A main feature of the 2-day event will be a medieval dinner held on site on the evening of the 21st June.

Day delegate rates are GBP 120 plus VAT per day or GBP 195 plus VAT for two days.

A complete 2-day package including luxury accommodation and the gala dinner on the Tuesday night costs just GBP 395 plus VAT.
