International activities gather pace

Profibus UK to launch annual conference
Profibus UK has announced its intention to launch an annual conference to take place within OSPMA-Fieldcomms on 5-6 December 2000.
The response to the presentations was excellent.
The numerous visitors exhibited great expert knowledge and signalled their intention to use Profibus and Profinet increasingly in their plants.
Profibus also received great support for its activities in form of various white papers of the ARC Advisory Group in which the advantages of Profibus, among other standards in process automation, were confirmed.
This study is now also available in the Chinese language.
Now up-to-date information for the Chinese market is available with the Chinese edition of the Profinews newsletter.
Also new is the North American edition of Profinews which is specifically directed at the local market with additional regional information and applications.
In addition to many education and training events, activities in the USA also include 23 events surrounding Profibus and Profinet which are expected to draw more than 3000 visitors, with a particular focus on the chemicals industry and the automobile industry.
