Seminar on lean manufacturing in the food industry

A Pera product story

The Food Processing Faraday is organising a major seminar "Squeezing more out: lean manufacturing in the food industry".

Lean manufacturing techniques have been offering proven advantages to industries such as automotive and aerospace for decades, but have only recently been adopted by leading food processors, and the results have been quite startling.

So much so, that the Food Processing Faraday is organising a major seminar "Squeezing more out: lean manufacturing in the food industry", on 26th September 2002, to demonstrate how leading food companies are changing the culture of their organisations, reducing staff turnover, and increasing product quality into the bargain.

With presentations from the Food and Drink Forum, The Food Processing Faraday, Allied Bakeries, Northern Foods and Butt Foods, this event will demonstrate how others in the industry have achieved these results.
