Jargon buster cuts through the ATEX jungle
ABB has published an "ATEX jargon buster" that helps motor users cut through the jungle of terms and definitions that make up the new ATEX Directives.
Pera's latest offering, the Innovation Factory (I-Factory), which is cofunded by the European Union, will enable them to achieve this by providing cost-effective access to world-class technology and support services necessary to achieve radical growth.
Martec's Jonathan Harper noted: "We aim to provide our customers with the very best service in product recovery and therefore continually strive to improve both our products and service and the way we work with our customers.

The I-Factory initiative will help us achieve our aim and benefit our customers." Formed in 1997, Chesterfield based Martec specialises in providing processing companies (food, drinks, toiletries, paints, and pharmaceuticals among others) with unique patented pipeline product recovery and waste minimisation systems.
These incorporate a device called a Marplug, which fits snugly inside the pipeline, and is propelled by water or compressed air to clear the line of any product, doing away with the need for gallons of cleaning fluid and rinsing agents used in traditional cleaning methods.
The result is not only cleaner pipes, but also the absence of cleaning fluids means valuable product within the pipe can be recovered, resulting in far less waste.
Martec's wide ranging experience of the process industry, combined with a practical approach to meeting individual client's requirements has enabled it to provide solutions for many manufacturers both in the UK and abroad.
Martec prides itself on their ability to recover virtually any product that is capable of being pumped through a pipe, saving the manufacturer a considerable amount of time and money, thereby increasing profits and also being kinder to the environment.
This latest project with Pera will ensure that Martec is able to achieve its aim of continually improving the products and services it offers to the market.
