Pera has a track record in successfully delivering the services of the East Midlands MAS for over three years, during which time more than 1500 companies in the region have been supported.

Patricia Hewitt, MP and Secretary of State for Trade and Industry commented: "I am delighted that manufacturers in the East Midlands have benefited from the expertise and support of the Manufacturing Advisory Service".

"To date, each business on average has seen an increased added value of over GBP 170,000".

"This is a remarkable achievement from a service that has only been operating for three years".

The contract will boost the region's economy through the delivery of GBP 2.1 million of additional funding over the next three years ensuring manufacturers remain at the cutting edge of design and technology.
