Available now from ProSim, TICE-CAPE is a self-learning course that can help engineers master the fundamental aspects of CAPE (computer assisted process engineering) and process simulation.

TICE-CAPE has been produced by Vincent Gerbaud, Researcher CNRS at the Laboratoire de Genie Chimique and member of the Computer Aided Process Analysis research team of the Process System Engineering department.

TICE-CAPE is an interactive tool that will enable the user to rigorously build a flowsheet, analyse the different parameters of a process and understand the results of a simulation.

In particular, the course covers the different aspects of process design, the global or sequential methods used to solve a process simulation problem and an overview of simulation software.

The different topics are addressed through a slide-show based course, several multiple answers questionnaires, and practical exercises to be conducted with ProSimPlus, ProSim's steady state process simulator.

Illustrations, animations and interactive contents are some of the elements of the step by step approach that make this course particularly convenient and efficient for everyone.

TICE-CAPE is available in French and in English and can be purchased directly from ProSim's website for only Eur 100.
