According to Roberta Gamble, Energy Markets Industry Manager, Frost and Sullivan, the 2004 award honours Power Measurement for its initiative and success toward product innovation in the North American electrical utility meter market.

"Credit in large part goes to the company's Ion technology, which has shown continued advancements and is the preferred technology in numerous markets.
The company's strategies have propelled it to market-leading positions, which Frost and Sullivan has recognised through independent research and analysis with Power Measurement's competitors, clients, and other industry experts".
In addition to the 2004 Frost and Sullivan Product Innovation Award, Power Measurement has received the 2002 Frost and Sullivan Market Engineering Leadership Award, and the 2000 Frost and Sullivan Strategic Alliance Innovation Award.
In describing this latest honour, Gamble explains: "Measurement and communication have become inseparable in today's metering world, and Power Measurement is one of the pioneer organisations in developing such innovative solutions to meet the changing requirements of the end users.
