Scheduler has profitable-to-promise capability
Process Systems Enterprise has released version 1 of the ModelEnterprise supply chain platform, incorporating the Optimal Single Site Scheduler (OSS Scheduler).
The company will also showcase recent examples of model-based innovation (MBI) technology, demonstrating how the application of high-accuracy process models is helping its customers to speed up innovation, improve designs of processes and products, enhance existing operations, improve the effectiveness of R and D programmes, and generally manage the risk associated with innovation.
PSE and customer presentations will focus on the application of MBI to areas such as design of new reactors, crystallisers, fuel cell systems and complex separation processes, and will show how results can be achieved rapidly and at low cost compared with alternatives (where these exist).
PSE is also holding a limited-place workshop called "What's new in gPROMS 3.0?" on 27th April, for people who want hands-on experience of the new features.
