Process Systems Enterprise has set up agreements with IndiaSoft Technologies and Tridiagonal Solutions to bring its software to India.

Process Systems Enterprise (PSE) has introduced its gPROMS advanced process modelling (APM) software and associated ModelCare services in India As a first step in this long-term strategic development, the company has set up agreements with IndiaSoft Technologies and Tridiagonal Solutions

(TDS) that will bring gPROMS software and applications to the Indian process industries.

gPROMS is used throughout the chemical and other process industry sectors.

APM is high-accuracy predictive modelling technology available to process industries for optimising design and operation of process plants and accelerating innovation.

gPROMS' advanced model libraries for reaction, separation, crystallisation and polymerisation processes are recognised as leaders in their fields.

IndiaSoft is authorised to distribute gPROMS within the Indian process industries, with particular focus on the extensive academic market.

The company, which is also the Indian distributor for Lanner Group's Witness, is one of the country's leading distributors of specialist modelling, simulation and optimisation software.

TDS is a company formed by experts from the national laboratories and industry, and has extensive experience in reactor engineering and computational fluid dynamics.

PSE and TDS will collaborate to provide Indian and worldwide customers with high-fidelity packaged reactor models for specific processes, as well as specialised reactor modelling services.

Prof.

Costas Pantelides, Managing Director of PSE, says "We are very pleased to be taking the first step in entering the Indian market in collaboration with two highly qualified companies".

"We believe that India, with its extensive process industries and highly-educated personnel, will very quickly develop into a major market for PSE and gPROMS".
