Datalogging level transducer adds option for ETFE jacketed cable for increased durability and corrosion resistance in liquid level monitoring applications.
Pressure Systems now offers its waterMonitor datalogging level transducer with an optional ETFE (ethylene tetrafluororethylene) jacketed cable for increased durability and corrosion resistance in liquid level monitoring applications.
ETFE is a fluoropolymer with excellent tensile strength and chemical resistance.
This enables the waterMonitor to excel in liquid level applications by eliminating concerns of cross-contamination or cable damage.
This includes a wide variety of other liquid level applications, such as portable ground and surface water, open channel level measurement, down hole, well, lake, stream and reservoir level monitoring and watershed management.
The waterMonitor can store up to 600,000 level, temperature and timestamp measurements and is specifically designed to operate in any wireless environment making it ideal for remote installations.
The submersible transducer can measure liquid level to an accuracy of better than +/-0.05% FS total error band (TBS) as deep as 210m H2O and features a networkable RS485 interface with selectable baud rates from 1200 to 19200.
The breadth of waterMonitor offerings include internal or external battery operation, stainless steel or titanium construction, vented gauge or absolute reference format, closed or open face nose cap, and polyurethane or the new ETFE cable.
An available baroMonitor for atmospheric pressure compensation collects corresponding barometric (atmospheric) pressure readings to compensate absolute reference waterMonitor readings.
