PTC has strengthened its Windchill web-based collaboration and control offering with the introduction of a new quick start solution called Windchill PDMLink.
This year, the European awards are given in each of four industry categories.
Five finalists were selected in each category.
Entries were received from dozens of countries and garnered more than 450 entries.
A panel of expert judges from leading European design publications chose the finalists.
Submissions were evaluated on the benefits each design or design process provided to the entrant's company.
To capture the title of overall winner, the finalists will be judged on the comprehensive use of PTC products, creativity, and technical merit.
Voting will occur at the European PTC/User Conference and via the PTC website from now until 13th May 2002.
Finalists for the European PTC Awards 2002 Competition include: Cambridge Consultants; Root Solutions; Pitney Bowes; Diagnostic Grifols; KACO; Clitheroe Royal Grammar School; University of Bayreuth; Theale Green Community School; Ecole Nationale d'Ingenieurs de Metz; University of Applied Sciences of the Canton of Neuchatel; Forschungszentrum Rossnedorf; Hawker Siddeley Power Transformers; Kuhn; Dymo Engineering; CADB Turbopump and Solver Engineering Consulting; BAE Systems; ArvinMeritor; Multicar Spezialfahrzeuge; Bene Design; and Daewoo Avia.
The winners will be announced on 14th May 2002 at the PTC/User European Conference in Berlin, Germany.
