PTC will launch Pro/Desktop Express 2001 at the Solid Modelling 2002 exhibition this week in Birmingham.
The deadline for submissions is 28th March 2003, at 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time.
Awards are given in a number of categories including: aerospace, shipbuilding, defence, automotive, transportation, high tech electronics, consumer electronics, telecomms, life sciences, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, consumer, plastics and education.
The entries may be created using any of PTC's software products, including Pro/Engineer and Windchill.
An expert panel of judges, including individuals from major global engineering publications, will determine the finalists in each category.
The winning designs will be determined by online voting.
European winners will be announced at the European PTC user conference in Paris, France on 26th-27th May 2003.
International winners will be announced at the international PTC user conference in Orlando, Florida on 8th-11th June 2003.
